Prince William may have access to some of the finest cuisine in the world – plus the best chefs – however his daily diet is far from regal.
The future King shared what he enjoys for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as his favourite snacks throughout the day, and it’s not too dissimilar to what regular folk like to eat on a daily basis.
Nutritionist Monique Hyland spoke to the Prince about his diet on his visit to community hub Newquay Orchard, asking what he ate yesterday.
Monique explained: “He was a little bit nervous to begin with when I asked him what he ate yesterday.
“He was okay to start with as he had a healthy breakfast, but then he admitted someone had got him a ‘rubbish sandwich’ for lunch, and he had a chocolate brownie and a glass of red wine,” she claimed talking to Cornwall Live.
The nutritionist revealed, however, that William does go by the rule of “everything in moderation”.
He reportedly filled in a nutrition sheet regarding his food choices, revealing that he likes to start the day with two eggs, wholemeal toast with butter – a very nutritious choice.
He finished this off with an apple juice and a cup of tea with milk and sugar, according to the nutritionist.

Like many parents of young children, he admitted to needing some extra caffeine to keep him awake throughout the day. He also enjoyed two to three cups of coffee and a glass of red wine.
