Queen Camilla has likely sampled some of the finest cuisine in the world but just like all of us, she can’t love everything.
In coversation with Tom Parker Bowles – a food critic, food writer and Camilla’s own son – the Queen talked about all things food, from earliest memories to her favourite meals today.
Queen Camilla also told You Magazine about the foods she simply cannot stand.
While she grows her own veggies – namely kale, purple sprouting broccoli, carrots, courgettes, and lots of peas and beans – Camilla “can’t bear peppers”.
The royal hates them both raw and cooked, so must be kept out of fresh salads and pasta dishes alike.

Camilla added: “I’m not a fan of offal either, aside from very good liver.”
She shared that she differs from her son Tom when it comes to two ingredients.
She told the publication: “I avoid chilli and garlic too, unlike my son.”

While garlic is delicious and flavousome, a popular addition to many meals, the aftermath of eating it can be a little odorous.
When Camilla appeared on MasterChef Australia, she was asked what she wouldn’t like to see on a tray at a royal reception.
She answered: “I hate to say this, but garlic. Garlic is a no-no.” The Queen confirmed that you have to “lay off” of it when you’re chatting to a lot of people.
One thing Camilla absolutely loves the smell of, however, is freshly cooked fish and chips, wrapped in paper.
She praised its glorious aroma, stating: “You cannot beat proper fish and chips.”
