  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, or more to taste

    Combine avocados, chickpeas, tomato, lime juice, cilantro, onion, tahini, jalapeno pepper, olive oil, garlic, cumin, and salt in a large food processor; blend until smooth. Thin consistency with water if desired.

    Substitute 3 tablespoons dried cilantro for the fresh, if desired.

    Substitute a serrano pepper for the jalapeno pepper if preferred.
