Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken
- 2 tablespoons turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoons salt
- Ingredients to blend
- 35 grams bird’s eye chili
- 250 grams red onions
- 60 grams garlic
- 60 grams lemongrass
- 60 grams turmeric
- 60 grams ginger
- 1 stalk fern shoots
- 8 pieces dried tamarind
- 300 grams coconut milk
- 15 grams turmeric powder
- 300 grams water
- to taste Salt
Steps
Marinate the chicken with the turmeric and salt for approximately 3 hours
Grill or smoke the chicken on a charcoal stove or grill in your desired method.
Blend all the items to make a paste.
Boil the water in a pot and pour in the paste. Cook the gravy til it becomes fragrant.
Put in the chicken into the pot.
Put in the fern shoots.
Lastly, pour in the coconut milk and salt. Cook further til ready.
