Ingredients

  1. 1 whole chicken
  2. 2 tablespoons turmeric powder
  3. 1 teaspoons salt
  4. Ingredients to blend
  5. 35 grams bird’s eye chili
  6. 250 grams red onions
  7. 60 grams garlic
  8. 60 grams lemongrass
  9. 60 grams turmeric
  10. 60 grams ginger
  11. 1 stalk fern shoots
  12. 8 pieces dried tamarind
  13. 300 grams coconut milk
  14. 15 grams turmeric powder
  15. 300 grams water
  16. to taste Salt

Steps

  1. Marinate the chicken with the turmeric and salt for approximately 3 hours

  2. Grill or smoke the chicken on a charcoal stove or grill in your desired method.

  3. Blend all the items to make a paste.

  4. Boil the water in a pot and pour in the paste. Cook the gravy til it becomes fragrant.

  5. Put in the chicken into the pot.

  6. Put in the fern shoots.

  7. Lastly, pour in the coconut milk and salt. Cook further til ready.
