This is Oats Kichdi .. Kichdi is a soul food for many of us and easy when it comes to cooking anytime .. It’s best eaten when hot with any kind of side . This oats Kichdi has a amazing taste to it just add your favorite veggies have it with dollop of ghee and just serve it with simple yogurt.. yumm
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Oats
- 3 tbsp Ghee/oil
- Carrots
- Beans
- Peas
- 1 onion medium
- to taste Salt
- Cumin seed
- 2 clove garlic crushed
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 2/5 water
Steps
Heat pressure cooker add ghee or oil,once hot add cumin seed then add onion sauté well till soft, add garlic and sauté well.
Add the veggies and cook for while in ghee add little salt.Then add turmeric and then add the oats and mix well let it get mix in the ghee and veg for while.
Then add two cup hot water and close the lid and put the lid and pressure cook for two whistle. Once done serve hot.
