Ingredients

  1. 900 gms chicken
  2. 1 cup curd
  3. 1 onion chopped
  4. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  5. 1 tsp cumin powder
  6. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  7. 1 tbsp kasuri methi
  8. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1/2 cup oil
  10. Salt as per taste
  11. Fresh methi leaves 1/2 cup
  12. 1 tbsp crushed green chillies
  13. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

Steps

  1. Marinate chicken the 8with 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder,turmeric powder and salt as per taste

  2. Marinate for 1 hour

  3. Add 1 cup in a pan

  4. Add whole garam masala dalchi,green cardamom, laung

  5. Add 1 chopped onion fry till pinkish colour

  6. Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  7. Now add 1 tablespoon green chilli crushed

  8. Now add marinated chicken and mix everything well

  9. Add spices like kasuri methi, coriander powder and garam masala powder mix everything well

  10. Add 1 cup water mix well

  11. Cover the lid and cook for 10 to 15 minutes

  12. Dried the water completely from the chicken

  13. Add methi leaves mix everything well

  14. Leaves for dum for 5 minute

  15. Methi chicken is ready
