Had some leftover mutton from here: https://cookpad.com/us/recipes/339143-worlds-best-mutton-biryani I saw Fava beans at the Intl’ Market and got a pound. Have only heard of them until now!
You can roast the onions, garlics, and poblano if you like I just prefer using the BBQ.
Forgot the pic with the bowl!
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb fava beans, soaked
- 12 oz Several mutton chunks, see pic, about 12 ounces
- slices Grilled onion
- Grilled garlics
- Grilled poblano chili
- Red sweet chili's for color
- to taste cardamom
- To taste garam masala
- To taste salt, pepper
Steps
I soaked the fava beans several hours and then pressure cooked with the mutton.
Had another idea while that was cooking and grilled some onion slices, garlics, and a poblano chili. Chopped these up and in a pot on the induction cooker. IP doesn’t really have a simmer.
Simmer for at least 20 minutes for the flavors to meld.
