1. 4 cups flour
  2. 1/2 cup lard
  3. 1 tablespoon salt
  4. 1/4 tablespoon baking powder
  5. 1-1/2 cups warm water (depends on humidity)


  1. Take flour, salt, lard, baking powder in a big bowl and combine to course crumbles

  2. Work Till it holds its shape when squeezed.

  3. Slowly add warm water and knead till a smooth dough forms.

  4. Make golf size balls

  5. Flaten each ball to a thin disk with a rolling pin. On a lightly floured surface.

  6. Cook on med high heat on a comal 1-2 min on each side till golden bubble like patches form.

  7. Remove from heat.

  8. Cool on a cotton cloth. store in a plastic bag.
