1. 1 cup tamarind seeds
  2. 1 cup water
  3. Half cup jaggery powder or 4 tbsp sugar
  4. 1 tsp salt
  5. 1 tsp red chili powder
  6. Half tsp black pepper
  7. Half tsp chaat masala
  8. Half tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
  9. Half tsp garam masala
  10. Half tsp coriander powder
  11. 1 small onion sliced


  1. Boil tamarind with seeds in water with sugar or jaggery whatever you have available

  2. Now after cooling down mash properly and strain

  3. Now add all the spices together and add onion.let it rest for atleast one hour in refrigerator

  4. Enjoy yumm chutney onion.
