Leftover produce. My tomatoes were going south so I sliced them thick and grated parm and garlic over them and broiled them as a side for steak and baked potatoes. Not bad at all!! ?
- 3 large slicing tomatoes, sliced thick
- Fresh grated parm over each
- Dribble olive oil over each
- Sprinkle them all with salt pepper and garlic powder and season salt
Slice tomatoes and put on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Sprinkle with all the ingredients and broil on high for about 5-6 minutes. When they come out the skins will peel right off after they’ve cooled a bit.
We put them on crackers or just as they are
