I love mayonnaise but don’t like the additives in commercially prepared mayo
This recipe is super simple, tastes delicious and will keep in the fridge for up to 10 days
If you prefer the taste of Miracle Whip, I’ve added the tweaks following this recipe
You will get just over a cup of mayonnaise with the amounts in my recipe, for more, try doubling


  1. 2 large egg yolks
  2. 2 tsp white vinegar
  3. 1/8 tsp salt
  4. 2/3 C vegetable oil


  1. In a food processor, add the egg yolks, vinegar and salt, pulse a few times to combine

  2. With the speed on high, slowly add the oil through the top vent…it will thicken as the oil is added

  3. That’s all there is to it! The whole process takes about 3 minutes

  4. For a Miracle Whip taste, substitute red wine vinegar for the white vinegar, add 1/2 tsp of mustard…that’s it!
