1. 1 lb thick cut smoked bacon
  2. 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
  3. 1/2 sweet onion
  4. 1-1/2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  5. 1 lb shredded 4 cheese blend
  6. 32 oz bag of frozen tater tots
  7. 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
  8. Salt
  9. Pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 13×9 deep side baking dish

  2. Single layer the bottom baking dish with tater tots

  3. Chop up the bacon and begin to cook in a large skillet

  4. Chop up the onion and add to the bacon after 2-3 minutes

  5. After another 2-3 minutes add the ground beef

  6. Once the ground beef is cooked thoroughly; turn of the heat and drain

  7. Put the beef & bacon mixture back in the skillet; keep off heat and stir in all of the cream of mushroom soup

  8. Stir in salt & pepper to taste and 1/2 of the shredded cheese to the beef-soup mixture

  9. Once well mixed, pour over the layer of tater tots

  10. Layer the rest of the tater tots on top then layer the remainder of the cheese on top

  11. Bake for 45 min or until the tots are crispy
