Alkaline dieting can be pretty intimidating. However, I made a cookie that helps me feel like I can do It!

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups Spelt Flour
  2. 1 cup Kamut flour
  3. 1/2 cup grapeseed oil
  4. 1/2 cup agave nectar
  5. 1/4 cup date sugar
  6. 1/2 cup chopped dates
  7. 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut
  8. 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  9. 1/2 tsp sea salt
  10. Dash vanilla
  11. 1 tsp allspice
  12. 1 cup hemp milk
  13. as needed Spring water
  14. Prep

Steps

  1. Mix dry ingredients and sift

  2. Mix in

  3. Mix in walnuts, dates, coconut flakes.

  4. Add agave, oil, and mix. Add hemp milk until you reach a doughy consistency, like peanut butter cookies.

  5. Section off small balls of dough and set on a cookie sheet with parchment paper

  6. Push dough flat with a spatula, and bake for 10-12 min in a preheated oven at 400 degrees, depending on how thick you left them.

  7. Take them out and let them cool.

  8. Extras can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container.
