Ingredients

  1. 2 cups Japanice rice
  2. 1/2 cup cane vinegar
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. 3 tsp sugar
  5. Korean dried lager sheets for homemade Furikake toppings and sushi wraps
  6. 1/8 cup toasted sesame seeds
  7. 3 packets left over bonito
  8. 1 mango diced into cubes
  9. 1 cucumber
  10. Kani crabmeat
  11. 1/4 cup mayo
  12. Quickmelt cheese

Steps

  1. Cook the rice first. Once cooked, set it aside and let it cool down.

  2. Make the homemade Furikake using bonito, dried laver and toasted sesame seeds.

  3. Mix the cane sugar, salt and sugar. You may add portions of sugar if you want it a little sweet. Pour it into the rice and mix well.

  4. Add the grated cheese on top of the rice and then add the kani, mango, cucumber. Lastly, add the Furikake on top then drizzle with mayo

  5. Pop it in the oven for at least 10 minutes or until cheese melted. Serve with dried laver!
