  • 2 tablespoonsbutter
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 teaspoonsfresh ground black pepper
  • 12 cupred wine, ie Merlot
  • 1 tablespoonbalsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
  • Directions

  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.Add mushrooms and garlic, and saute until mushrooms are cooked.Add all liquid ingredients.Grind pepper into saucepan.Continue cooking on medium until sauce reduces by 2/3.
  • Perfect over a steak, or on a roast beef dip sandwich.
