Doctor explains the health benefits of LighterLife diet plan
When trying to achieve weight loss goals, it can be helpful to look to those who have already slimmed down. One woman changed her diet plan to transform her figure.
Marian Antrobus revealed her weight had slowly crept on over the years.
While she regularly attended a slimming group, the dieter struggled to find motivation to actually make a change.
For breakfast, Marian would tuck into toast with jam or chocolate spread and have sandwiches and crisps for lunch.
Dinner would often be pizza or pasta with chips and she revealed she would snack on biscuits throughout the day.

The slimmer soon decided enough was enough and was inspired to sign up for another slimming group.
She said: “My husband and I’s 31st wedding anniversary was approaching and instead of contentment I was just feeling down in the dumps.
“My weight had been getting me down for some time.
“Nothing was changing, however, even though I would go to a local slimming club every week.
“Then in June 2019, I was feeling more desperate than ever before.
“Whilst out driving I reached a set of traffic lights I pass every day, but for some reason this time I noticed a sign for a new slimming club.”
The group was run by weight management company LighterLife and Marian was inspired to overhaul her diet plan.
She swapped her high carb diet for meals including porridge for breakfast and chicken noodles for dinner.
Instead of biscuits and sugary treats, Marian explained she would pick healthy snacks such as fruit.
Her new diet plan encouraged eating food low in carbs and high in nutrients.
The weight soon started to fall off and Marian was feeling healthier in just five months.
The dieter slimmed down from 13st 3lb to a healthy 8st 13lb in that time.
She also revealed she had a healthy BMI for the first time in many years.
She continued: “In just five months my BMI reached the normal zone for the first time in decades.
“I’m the lightest I’ve ever been in my whole life and I just feel so healthy for it.”
As well as losing weight and becoming healthier, Marian explained she had become happier.
