One dieter managed to transform his life and slim down from an astounding 36st 6lb to 25st 8lb. He used Reddit to explain a combination of the keto diet plan and intermittent fasting helped him lose weight fast.

In a post online, the user “hoofadoo” said he is 6ft 7in, 33-years-old and recently managed to drop 10st 12lb.
Posting pictures of him before and after, he explained the transformation took just six months.
What’s more, he managed to achieve his goals by changing what he ate rather than focusing on exercise.
He said: “I think with keto I’ve just been able to maintain a lot of the muscle that I had and it’s just now starting to show.”
So what diet plans did he follow?
The slimmer explained he combined the keto diet plan with intermittent fasting to shape up.
The keto diet plan is a low-carb and high-fat diet plan which also includes moderate protein.
By following this diet, the body can enter into a state called “ketosis” which is thought to boost the metabolism and promote fat loss.
On this plan, it is likely he filled up on low-carb foods such as meats, fish, nuts, seeds, vegetables and low-sugar fruits.
“hoofadoo” explained he paired this with intermittent fasting, which restricts the times of days slimmers will eat.
Some people on the diet will eat within a six or eight hour window each day and fast for the remaining hours.
Another popular form of fasting is the 5:2 plan, where dieters will eat 500 calories and two days of the week and eat normally on the remaining five days.
On Reddit, other users were quick to comment on his impressive weight loss transformation and ask for tips.
Recently, another Reddit user managed to shed exactly ten stone with the keto diet plan.
Sharing pictures of his transformation, the dieter revealed he would track what he ate to make sure he got the right balance of foods.
The Reddit user also added more exercise into his daily routine and would focus on doing bodyweight exercises at home.
