When entering the jungle, celebrities are put on a basic meal plan which usually leads to them slimming down.

However, Kate has transformed her figure before entering the jungle by switching up her diet.

The broadcaster has shown off her slim figure in recent years and previously said she is in the best shape of her life.

She explained she made the biggest change in her diet by cutting out one food group. 

Struggling with her weight due to her love of sweet treats, she made a change and shed two stone after her last pregnancy.

The journalist explained she focused on changing her diet in a bid to slim down.

Speaking to Fit & Well magazine, she said: “I tried different popular diets and realised, because of the crazy shifts I do, I regulated my energy with sugar bursts.”

“I don’t think I ate a lot of sugar but by 8am I’ve always had loads of chocolate.”

Cutting back on sugary snacks, Kate replaced them with healthy foods but is not too restrictive with her diet.

She explained: “Now I eat avocados obsessively because I found one of the diets was high in good fat, medium protein and zero sugar – which is a bit extreme for me.

“But eating avocados and low-sugar foods help keep my energy levels up.”

Kate also cut caffeine out of her diet and instead fuelled herself with healthy foods.

The GMB host explained her slim frame is also helped by regular exercise and said she will walk everywhere.

The journalist has used her Instagram account to share her love of exercise and being outdoors and shared a video of her on an outdoor walk.

In the caption, Kate wrote: “#backtowork tomorrow but #backtonature today. Love getting into our woods & countryside.”

She will also use Instagram to show some of the healthy meals she eats. 

Good Morning Britain host, Susanna Reid, recently changed her diet and managed to shed 1st 7lb.

Susanna ditched alcohol and tried to cut back on snacking to slim down.

The presenter also explained she stopped having milk in her coffee to cut back on how many calories she consumed.
