James Martin went through a weight loss transformation after he lost five stone in just two months. But how did the TV chef manage to lose so much weight?
James Martin appears every week on his Saturday Morning Show but the chef has also been in many other TV series such as Strictly Come Dancing.
While competing on Strictly, James lost a lot of weight.
He revealed he lost a stone in just a week.
When the show finished after two months, Martin had lost an impressive five stone.
But how did he do it?
The TV chef explained he just followed a healthy diet and started exercising.
“It’s hard work because I’m a big bloke so I’ve really got to watch what I eat and drink, and make sure I exercise regularly,” he explained.
James incorporated a lot of fruit and vegetables into his diet.
He also started working out in order to lose weight.
James explained he incorporated walking into his fitness routine.
At the beginning of his weight loss journey, he explained: “I looked on social media and every comment was about me being fat.
“So I lost a stone and a half.
“I just think it’s a lifestyle thing and also looking at yourself on TV.
“Before you used to watch TV on a small one and now they’re massive,” he said.
“And no doubt I’ll lose another stone on this tour,” he told The Sun.
On a social media post, James wrote: “I lost 14 kilos (two stone 3lb) got to get new clothes.”
The chef reportedly cut back on fats and especially butter to help him slim.
After he left Strictly, James promised fans he was going to stay healthy and continue his new meal plan.
The TV chef explained a healthy diet and exercise was mainly what helped him lose weight.
