A personal trainer to A-listers including Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds has revealed that his clients stay in good shape by feeding themselves sufficient amounts of the right foods.

The Hollywood sweethearts do not count their calories to keep their numbers down on the scales, their trainer explained in a social media post.

According to Don Saladino, his clients emphasize natural foods in their to keep stay slim and make sure they’re eating enough calories to stay fit.

The PT recently divulged his celebrity tips in an Instagram post, saying: “Sometimes, eating clean isn’t enough. Something you’re going to have to bump your calories and consume more.

“If you’re going to start doing a lot more activity, you’re going to have to eventually bump up your calories. If you’re eating clean but you’re not eating enough calories, you’re going to start feeling a bit different.

“You’re going to feel a bit flat, your energy level begins to diminish and you’ll even notice that your sleep starts diminishing.”

The takeaway message is that abstaining from food can sometimes be counterproductive when it comes to weight loss because the body needs sufficient nutrients to sustain energy levels throughout the day.

“Take note, when you’re doing more exercise, you’re running more, training, more you’re going to need to eat more calories. I find when I do that, my body starts to look better because it’s fuller, it’s tighter it’s more energetic,” added Saladino.

Another key element of any weight loss journey is adequate hydration, according to the health guru, as it is essential for ensuring the body can function properly.
