Fact about me: I can’t walk past a Pottery Barn store, look at a catalog, or see a commercial without immediately thinking of Friends/telling everyone within earshot about how I’m thinking of Friends.
True, the iconic TV show has affected nearly every facet of my life. But that apothecary episode has stuck with me like Janice on Chandler—and it seems I’m not the only one.
Patrick Connolly, a former executive at Pottery Barn's parent company Williams-Sonoma, once called the episode the "gift that keeps on giving." “Phones light up with catalog requests every time it airs in syndication,” he said.
Almost 20 years later, the retail chain is still capitalizing on one of its most famous episodes. The Pottery Barn Friends collection was released today and it is perfection.
Obviously, the line includes a replica of the famous apothecary table (from the days of yore). But, we gotta say, we’re even more excited about these Friends-inspired kitchen items. Here’s what’s on our wishlist:
