McDonald’s Hot ‘n Spicy McChicken was sadly discontinued in 2013—leaving heat-loving fans of the fast food chain in the dirt.
If you’ve been pining for the sandwich for six years, you may want to head to Canada: McDonald’s Canada is releasing three new Spicy McChicken sandwiches, each with a different level of heat.
Here’s what we know:
The new, limited-time Spicy McChicken line started with the Spicy Jalapeño McChicken in late January, according to Brand Eating. It adds two layers of creamy jalapeño sauce to the original McChicken formula—a breaded chicken patty and lettuce on a sesame seed bun.
Then, this month, the Spicier Habanero McChicken (with habanero sauce) arrived on the scene. The Spiciest Ghost Pepper McChicken (with ghost pepper sauce) is expected to debut on February 26.
I think I speak for everyone when I say that I’m absolutely devastated that this line won’t be available in the U.S.
I love McDonald’s as much as the next gal, but its menu is definitely lacking spice.
If you’re lucky enough to live in Canada, or if you plan to visit Great White North anytime soon, the three spicy sandwiches will be available until March 11.
