In the refrigerator aisle of Costco, you can find boxes that come with 10 already prepared drinks inside. You’ll have to keep them refrigerated at 50 degrees or below for the best results according to the box, so make sure to clear out some space in your fridge before purchasing these.
The lattes are made by a South Korean company called MAEIL, and are labeled as a “mild latte,” so they’re perfect for those who don’t usually go for a strong brew in the morning. Those who do might want to power up their espresso machine to get their full caffeine fix for the day.
Each box goes for $14 at Costco, according to @costcosisters, who also said the drinks remind them of “coffee vending machine drinks from Korea and China,” so if you’ve ever traveled there, these might be familiar to you. Instagram users in the comments also said they usually purchase these drinks at their local Korean market, so these bigger boxes are great if you want to try them out as a part of your morning routine for the week.
Of course, this doesn’t replace making it yourself if you’re a self-proclaimed barista, nor does it stand in for getting a fresh drink made at your go-to cafe, but it’s a good option to try out for those extra-drowsy mornings to save you some time. That is, until the PSL is back in stores. Duh.
