Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando is the perfect place for those that love to shop and eat good food. The area is constantly opening up new attractions for guests to enjoy, like the famous Gideon’s Bakehouse, and now a brand new M&M’s store has made its way to the complex.
The experiential store features some of the same attractions that are available at other M&M’s store locations including the vibrant Wall of Chocolate and M&M’s characters. Guests will also be able to make their very own custom candies at the store to take home and enjoy on their own.
Fans that are missing their Disney trips right about now can take a virtual tour of the brand new M&M’s store online at Mms.com. You can click through the space in a 3D experience that shows you the branded merchandise, candy dispensers, and kiosks to make your own custom candy.
Director of Global Retail at Mars Retail Group, Patrick McIntyre, said in a press release that opening up an M&M’s store in Disney Springs was a no brainer due to the upbeat environment of the area.
“The biggest brands create the best moments in some of the world’s best places. M&M’S brings more smiles across generations and connects people around the world,” he said. “Choosing culturally vibrant locations for our new stores is key to Mars Wrigley’s retail expansion strategy to delight our valued consumers, and Disney Springs is the perfect backdrop for the most popular confectionery in the world.”
We couldn’t agree more! I’ll be daydreaming about my next Disney trip for the rest of the week, HBU?
