Starbucks is recalling over 230,000 Bodum 8-cup French presses sold in the U.S. (and another 33,200 that were sold in Canada) after receiving eight reports from injured users.

According to the recall notice from the Consumer Product Safety Commission and also published on the Starbucks website, the coffee press’ plunger knob “can break and expose the metal rod, posing a laceration hazard.”

Stay up to date on what healthy means now.

The recalled Bodum French press was created for Starbucks and sold in stores nationwide and online from November 2016 to January 2019 for about $20. If you’ve purchased a French press from Starbucks, look for SKU number 011063549 printed on a white label on the bottom of the base.

Starbucks is urging consumers to stop using the French presses and contact Starbucks for a full refund. Don’t bring your press directly to a store. They won’t accept them. Instead, you can call 888-843-0245 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or check the “Recall Information” under the Customer Service section of the Starbucks website.
