Despite premiering on NBC all the way back in 2005, The Office somehow remains a central pillar of pop culture. It was the most-streamed show on Netflix in 2019 (six years after its series finale aired), and you can bet that it’s even more popular now that most millennials raised on the show are stuck at home and really just want to hear the sound of someone else’s voice.
Well if you’ve already memorized most of the series’ dialogue and are caught up on John Krasinski’s Some Good News podcast, the next logical thing for an Office superfan to do is grab a coffee with members of the cast.
Thanks to a partnership with online charity crowdfunding platform Omaze, one lucky Dunder-head can win a coffee date with Oscar Nunez (Oscar), Kate Flannery (Meredith), Melora Hardin (Jan), and Creed Bratton (Creed Bratton. Yes, really.) for a mini-Office reunion over video chat. Thankfully Toby will not be there, presumably because he went back to Costa Rica.

Those members of the cast didn’t just agree to do the video chat because they’re bored and isolated. The goal is to try and raise some money for the Variety Boys and Girls Club of LA, a nonprofit that helps get meals, emergency supplies, and activity kids to kids and families in need during the COVID-19 crisis. Think of it as a much more legit and less cringe-inducing version of Scott’s Tots.
There’s technically no donation required in order to win, but the bigger your donation, the more times your name will be entered into the drawing. So if you are a little stitious, you should donate to improve your odds.
So if you’ve ever wanted to learn more about the cast, hear behind the scenes tales from the Office set or finally figure out what Creed planned to do once he acquired three chairs, get your entries in between now and May 21. Hopefully Ryan won’t commit fraud and rig the contest.
