Caffe Nero Panettone Latte ★★★★★
This is the perfect festive pick-you-up, with the bread notes from the oat milk combining with the fruity and spicy flavouring to make it feel like you are eating a slice of the classic Milanese Christmas cake while drinking a cup of strong Italian coffee.
It’s an indulgent treat which is suitable for vegans and comes in one size, so is good value at £4.30.
Costa Coffe Roasted Hazel Latte ★★★★✩
The roasted hazelnut flavouring is delicious and complements the coffee perfectly, while conjuring images of nuts roasted on a fire without being too sickly sweet and syrupy.
This is a moreish festive treat which at £4.20 for a small cup represents good value when compared to the rival coffees being offered this Christmas.

Starbucks Caramel Waffle Latte ★★★✩✩
This one really does taste like the classic Dutch treat Stroopwafels, which translates as caramel waffles. While these biscuits are normally a treat, the balance is wrong in this Starbucks interpretation and it felt like drinking hot milk flavoured with caramel waffle, instead of a coffee. And at £4.95 for a tall cup, this was the most expensive sampled.

Pret Gingerbread Latte ★★★★✩
The warming notes of ginger from the flavouring combine really well with the coffee to make this festive and enjoyable, without being too sickly sweet. A sprinkle of cinnamon powder on the whipped cream topping is also a pleasant surprise, making this latte at £3.70 a bargain compared to many of its Christmas rivals.
