  • 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 14 cupwater
  • 12 cupsalsa
  • 1 12 cupsshredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (12 ounce) canrefrigerated pillsbury grands jr biscuits

    DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Lightly spray a glass 13 x 9 inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef until no longer pink; drain fat.
  • In a large bowl stir together cooked meat, taco seasoning, pinto beans, tomato sauce, water, salsa and cheese.
  • Remove biscuits from can and cut each into 4 pieces. **if you cannot find Grand’s Jr, use regular Grand’s biscuits. 6 biscuits is about 12 oz. I just baked the 2 remaining biscuits for another use. Cut the regular Grands biscuits into 6 pieces.
  • Toss with meat mixture.
  • Pour biscuit mixture into prepared pan.
  • Spread biscuits out if they are clumped together.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Serve with your favorite taco toppings.
