Midnight snackers, crunch-cravers, and spice-lovers rejoice over the latest Cheetos creation to hit shelves in 2020. Everybody knows Cheetos dust, in its salty, neon-orange glory, has the power to enhance any standard carb to a thing of snacking dreams, but when you throw Flamin’ Hot dust into the equation, it takes everything up a notch.

This time, popcorn is taking a dip in the irresistible, fiery flavoring for an unmatched snacking experience. The new Frito-Lay product touched down in Texas just three and a half weeks before the Super Bowl, when spicy snacking might be at its prime.
“We’ve seen the way Cheetos lovers don their red- and orange-dusted fingers like a badge of honor, and we’re always looking for ways to help them step up their snacking game,” Brandi Ray, senior director of marketing, Frito-Lay North America, said in a statement.
Cheetos dust does have an official, branded name, by the way, and it’s one you’ll want to add to your snack-cabulary: Cheetle (i.e. the powdered, orange remains that linger on your fingertips after finishing off a bag of the savory stuff).
Among true Cheetos enthusiasts, Cheetle has gained substantial popularity with applications that go far beyond simple, out-of-the-bag snacking. We’re talking Cheetos corn on the cobs, Cheetos-chicken sandwiches, and Flamin' Hot funnel cakes, to name a few.
If burning, bold flavors are your thing, you can find this new popcorn available at $1.89 for a 2-ounce bag or $3.99 for a 6.5-ounce bag. However, if you’re more of a Cheetos-flavor purist, there’s a mild cheddar flavor available with your name on it.
