ketchup-truffles

Heinz, the condiment company most famous for their ketchup, has released a new Valentine's Day product that is sure to cause some relationship issues once gifted. Collaborating with Fortnum — a London-based company that sells specialty foods and beverages — the two companies have created Fortnum's X Heinz Tomato Ketchup Truffles.

The truffles, made by Fortnum's chocolatiers, are described as balanced with a creaminess from the chocolate and tanginess thanks to tomatoes. Each box contains a selection of truffles with milk, dark, and white chocolate shells, each containing a blonde ganache that's infused with Heinz Tomato Ketchup.

Only one thousand of the boxes were made, and quickly sold out to rabid ketchup fans across the United Kingdom for a hefty £19.95 ($25.84) each. But don't despair, if you still want to gift the love of your life something infused with ketchup, this Heinz Ketchup Cake may be just the Valentine's Day treat you need.
