These easy chicken skewers are packed with flavor and make a perfect lunch for you or the kids. Your secret weapon? Greek salad dressing, which has all the flavor of a homemade marinade without the hassle of buying and preparing extra ingredients. If you like, you can cook them all the way on the grill—we like finishing them in the oven because they’re less likely to dry out. They’ll work hot or cold, served with pita, hummus, and fresh veggies. 


  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, cut in 1-in. cubes
  • 1/2 cup Greek salad dressing
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

How to Make It

Step 1

Combine chicken and dressing in a medium bowl, and let marinate 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2

Stir together yogurt, sour cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, and set aside. 

Step 3

Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high (400°F-450°F). Place about 4 chicken pieces on each of 8 skewers. Place skewers on grill, and cook 2 minutes. Flip and cook 2 more minutes. Transfer skewers to a small rimmed baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven until cooked through, about 12 minutes. Serve with yogurt sauce.
