More than 100 vegetable products, sold under 11 brand names, are being recalled because of potential Listeria contamination.

California food distributor Mann Packing Co., Inc. announced the voluntary recall after the FDA and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency notified the company of a potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. 

No illnesses associated with these products have been reported at this time.

The recalled products have “Best If Enjoyed By” date of October 11, 2019 to November 16, 2019. You can find a full list of affected products as well as product images here. 

Brands impacted by the recall, sold in the U.S. and Canada, are: Mann’s, Del Monte, Trader Joe’s, Signature Farms, O Organics, HEB, Hungryroot, Kroger Organic, Marketside, Signature Farms, and Sysco.

Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious illness in young children, elderly people, and other people with weakened immune systems. However, healthy people can also be affected. 

Symptoms of infection include fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, as well as miscarriage and stillbirth among pregnant women. 

If you own any of the affected products, do not consume them. Throw them away or return them to the store where you purchased them immediately.
